HEALTH SCREENING, EXPLAINED

Make your next check
a considered one.

A screening package is a starting point for a conversation about your health. Here is how to choose, prepare and make sense of what comes next.

01

Choose with context.

Discuss the tests that are useful for you, based on your age, family history, health conditions and previous results.

  • Compare the full list of individual tests.
  • Ask about benefits and limitations.
  • Tell your clinician about symptoms; they may require assessment rather than routine screening.
02

Prepare for your visit.

Check the instructions for your selected tests before attending. Fasting requirements vary; do not assume every test needs fasting.

  • Bring identification and previous reports.
  • Prepare your medication and allergy list.
  • Ask for advice on your usual medicines and any sample collection requirements.
03

Understand your results.

Results need context. Discuss them with a clinician and clarify whether further assessment or follow-up is appropriate.

  • Ask what each relevant finding means.
  • Agree on practical next steps.
  • Keep a copy for future comparisons.

THE RIGHT TESTS FOR YOU

More information.
With the right perspective.

Screening tests have benefits and limitations. Some are useful for people with particular risks and may not be appropriate for everyone. Tumour markers alone cannot diagnose or rule out cancer.

Genetic testing also needs careful interpretation. Talk about suitability, consent and the implications of possible findings before proceeding.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you visit.

Answers to the questions you may be thinking about.

Ask us a question
How do I choose a health screening package?

Start with your age, medical history, family history and any previous results. Compare the individual tests, then discuss which are appropriate with a clinician. A more extensive package is not automatically the right choice for everyone.

Do I need to fast before my screening?

Preparation depends on the tests selected. Some blood tests require fasting and others do not. Ask the care team for your specific instructions before your visit, including advice about your usual medicines.

Can I add genetic testing or imaging?

Yes, the selection tool includes optional Nalagenetics and LifeStrands genetic tests, imaging and cervical screening options. All are subject to clinical suitability and confirmed availability. Genetic testing requires informed consent and clinical interpretation.

Does selecting a package book an appointment?

Not yet. The website currently saves a selection on your device. It does not book a visit or collect payment. Contact the care team to enquire about availability and next steps.
